VILLAGE OF ALLEN

BOARD OF TRUSTEES

October10, 2022

 

The Village Board of Trustees met in regular session October 10, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. in the Allen Village Office.  I Chairman Jay Jones called the meeting to order with Trustees Judy Nice and Dean Chase answering roll.  Absent – Brett Koeppe and Doug Ellis.  Also present were Rick Chase and Clerk Jean Rahn.  Chairman Jones informed the audience where to find the posted copy of the Open Meetings Act.  Motion made by Chase seconded by Nice to approve the minutes of the last meeting.  All present voted aye, motion carried.  Motion made by Nice, seconded by Chase to accept the treasurers’ report as read.  All present voted aye, motion carried. The following bills were presented for approval US Treasury – 3123.30, taxes, NNPPD –1669.42, elec., NNTC – 204.41, tele/internet Aramark- 79.85, sup, L.P Gill – 895.72, landfill, Nebraska Journal Leader – 246.73, pub, Nebraska Public Health Lab –1.00, tests, Nebraska Dept. of Revenue – 396.88, tax, Payroll Salaries – 12,694.70, wages, Countryside Gas & Grocery – 324.05, fuel, serv., Chestermans –7.00, water, AMGL – 3525.00, budget, Share Corp – 523.33, chem, Johnson & Mock – 60.84, legal,  JEO – 1000.00, prof., Nebraska Dept. of Revenue -1160.63,SW,  Burns Welding – 148.39, rep. Motion made by Chase, seconded by Nice to pay the bills as listed.   All present voted aye, motion carried.

Discussion was held on property, insurance, personnel, and trailer repair.

Being no further business, Nice made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Chase.  All present voted aye, motion carried.  Meeting adjourned at 8:07 p.m.  The Board of Trustees of the Village of Allen, Nebraska will meet in regular session at 7:30 p.m. on November 14, 2022 in the Village Office.
